Her gravestone photo from Sardis Cemetery was featured in the Wordless Wednesday: Flat Marker Perils post . 22 November 1905, Macon Weekly Telegraph " Death of a Little Girl Maggie, the 11-year-ol daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Herrit[a]ge, died yesterday morning at the residence of her parents near Walden, Ga. She had been sick about two weeks with typhoid pneumonia. The funeral services will be held this morning at 11 o'clock from Sardis church, Rev. Mr. Heard conducting the services. The interment will be at the Sardis church cemetery." Southern Graves Home
