J is for Jesus Said (Tombstone Tuesday & A to Z Challenge)

Why was this a challenging letter for me? I know basically nothing about Mr. and Mrs. William Shivers.  Other than they suffered enormous losses in the early and late 1880s.  Three of their children died before the age of one year.  Mary Lizzie died 22 August 1882 at age eleven months.  Lonsa, a son, died 2 June 1884 at age nine months.  And Bettie Glendora died 17 January 1889, also at age nine months. But Jesus said! Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Note:  My labeling of the children's graves is derived solely on the placement of inscriptions on the base of the stone obelisk . Images from Harmony - Smyrna Cemetery in Dooly County, Georgia. [If you're wondering what's up with all the "letter" posts:  I am attempting to follow the Blogging from A to Z Challenge (links to official page). This challenge lasts through the month of April, with Sundays off. Click here to see all my letter...
